New Release ! Planet Ogo by Beyond The Struttosphere
The BTS boys are back on Discolypso with another chuggy cosmic banger of a release, featuring some stellar remixes from a whole host of intergalactic stars!
Beyond The Struttosphere blast back into orbit with the release of ‘Planet Ogo’ on Discolypso. The title track is inspired by progressive trance and fuses a driving chug bassline with a hypnotic 303 sequence, distorted techno stabs and a trifecta of meandering arpeggiators, creating a wormhole through space and time. Thunderous power chords and nuanced percussion layering guide the track towards a cosmic void, echoing with mind-bending vocal samples from the cult sci-fi film ’12 Monkeys’, before a high-voltage crescendo transports you to the Planet Ogo.
Check out the full release on our Record Label Page!
We are hosted an intimate night at the Iconic Notting Hill Arts Club on Friday October 11th. DOMBRANCE joined us for a special performance in this unique setting – with support from Algy Strutt & Isaac Ferry .
Music Video Nominated in International Film Festival!
We are thrilled to share the news that the animated video to Dombrance’s tracks Bayrou and Cope – entitled ‘Double Trouble’ has been nominated for best Animated Music Video at the International Bucharest Film Festival – ANIMEST!
This video was a collaboration between the genius illustrator Olivier Laude, animator Ulysse Lefort, the musical artist Dombrance and record label Discolypso. Set in a futuristic ‘Sin City’ utopia – the video shows Dombrance as member of the Love Police – enforcing harmony on Mr Copé and François Bayrou. This is the first animated video Olivier has made – a mix of French comics, American cinema, and Japanese manga.
Fingers crossed for October 10th and good luck to all the other nominees at ANIMEST!
