Music Video Nominated in International Film Festival!
We are thrilled to share the news that the animated video to Dombrance’s tracks Bayrou and Cope – entitled ‘Double Trouble’ has been nominated for best Animated Music Video at the International Bucharest Film Festival – ANIMEST!
This video was a collaboration between the genius illustrator Olivier Laude, animator Ulysse Lefort, the musical artist Dombrance and record label Discolypso.
Set in a futuristic ‘Sin City’ utopia – the video shows Dombrance as member of the Love Police – enforcing harmony on Mr Copé and François Bayrou.
This is the first animated video Olivier has made – a mix of French comics, American cinema, and Japanese manga.
Monthly residency in Mexico City!
We now have a monthly night in one of CDMX’s hottest spots – MiMi Disco.
Our dear friend Rebolledo kindly put us forward for a monthly night and boy it’s been fun!
So far we have had guest appearances from Esquivel, Quinn Luke Lamont, Ray Mang, Isaac Ferry, Viento and Dicky Trisco.
