Known for his eclectic and innovative approach to music, Man Power (a.k.a. Geoff Kirkwood) has been making waves in the electronic music scene for some time with his unique blend of house, techno, and everything in between.
Raised in Wallsend on the banks of the river Tyne in the 80s and 90s against the backdrop of the hardships created by the closure of the Swan Hunter Shipyards, as a child Kirkwood was introduced to the nascent Acid House movement of the late 80s via his young mother. Since then, the visceral connection forged with the music and, importantly, culture of dance music has shaped his life and resulted in him becoming Man Power, a DJ, producer and performer of international note.
Hi label Me, Me Me has over 60 releases under it’s belt and is now a dance music institution.
We are thrilled to have him join our merry gang of remixers on Tropical City. He chose to take on ‘Around the Curve’, and has created two Beautiful remixes, one a chugging late night or early morning track for the dancefloor, the other a beautiful ambient journey.

Dan Tyler has been a key player in the Dub Disco & House scene since the early 1990’s. Alongside Conrad McDonnell, Tyler is one half of the legendary Idjut Boys.

For decades these two have crafted a distinctive sound that fuses frantic rhythms, dub-heavy disco, acid house and elements of everything in between - earning the duo a dedicated following and iconic status.

Tyler’s own edits and remixes are often dramatic in style….and occasionally come in pairs! In recent years the mighty Todd Terje has often enlisted Dan to wonk out his tracks, an honour bestowed upon only a few.

A few years back we had the pleasure of releasing two distinctive DT versions of Ichisan’s Harmona {DLYPSO_08] - a blissful balearic 12min Remix, and an anxious, rave-worthy ‘Acid Casualty Mix’.

For our latest release Tropical City, Dan has given us a pair of Turtle Doves worthy of any banquet - the first is his percussive, Rhythm Reprise - a valuable DJ Tool, unlike anything we’ve ever played or released!

His main version - the 8min Dan Tyler Remix is hard to pidgeon hole. It marches forth, weaving around an acidy riff that bounces around unpredictably on it’s merry way, always growing in intensity - supported by signature DT swooshes, sweeps and spiralling synth sounds.

Italian master Danilo Braca, based between the concrete jungle of New York and the Balearic island of Ibiza is an experienced audio professional with a long history as a DJ, music producer, record collector and mixing engineer. He was born in Italy and grew up under the influence of his father’s love for collecting records and audiophile HiFi gear.

Danilo was first featured in Discolypso in 2023 as a remixer on @luigisambuy ‘s Gemini EP, where he curated a breakbeat base with an incredible guitar solo on the ‘Gemini 6’ track.

Danilo is the founder of renowned The Sound of New York City, a web radio station and music production studio.

Danilo has an eclectic production and dj style, blending Afro-disco, synth-pop, Italo Cosmic, Garage House, Disco, Prog-Rock, Chicago Old School House, Philly vibes, and Techno all in one set.

Rune Lindbæk, a key figure in the Norwegian electronic music scene, has been making waves since the early 1990s. Known for his work with the legendary group Those Norwegians, Rune’s eclectic sound blends elements of ambient, Balearic dub disco, and film music.
