Sebastian Valencia is a NYC-based electronic artist blending Latin roots with timeless house and disco. Born in Cali, Colombia, he’s lit up stages worldwide—Elsewhere, Baum, Monopol, Festival Hermoso Ruido, Salón Amador, Video Club and more—and released acclaimed EPs on Wolf + Lamb and Razor-N-Tape.

His sets fuse House, Disco, Funk, Jazz and Latin rhythms into high-energy performances—DJ, hybrid or fully live—powered by his skills as a keyboardist and drummer. With dynamic solos, improvisations and emotional drops, Sebastian delivers unforgettable dance-floor moments.


“Since I was a child, I’ve carried a restless curiosity within me. My spirit never fit into the mold of traditional education—I passed through six different schools, always excelling academically, yet forever clashing with the system. What I did carry was a gift: the ability to make people laugh, to lift their spirits. And when I discovered music, I discovered the most powerful way to share that gift—with rhythm, harmony, and melody.
New York City house music transformed me. Its rawness, its soul, its street-born honesty became part of my DNA. It was the first time I felt truly at home, as if the music itself was where I was always meant to be.
‘Discolypso Theme’ is heavily inspired by salsa music, eternal symbol of my hometown of Cali, Colombia. Salsa is our heartbeat; my city has lived it, danced it, and carried its history for generations, even as the genre was born in New York.
